Come for the View, Stay for the Food

Sunsets, steaks, and creative salads are just a few of the spectacular items you can enjoy at White Dog Hill. Located on a rising between Clinton and Weatherford on Old Route 66, Owner Nelson King rejuvenated a piece of Oklahoma history and opened the exquisite establishment in August of 2007.

Savory steaks, grilled lamb chops, creative salads and unique cheese boards made only from fresh ingredients await you at White Dog. Be sure to save room for dessert specials like Key Lime Cheesecake, Vanilla Bundt Cake with Bourbon Cherry Ice Cream, and 7 Layers of Heaven Bars with Ice Cream.

White Dog Hill Restaurant maintained the western architect style by restoring the old Clinton Country Club of the roaring 20's into a unique restaurant. During the restoration process, new modern conveniences and necessities were added with a great deal of care while minimizing the overall effect on the western historical architectural style.

The history of this building is unique. It was originally constructed as the main clubhouse for those who could afford the luxury of playing golf in the 1920's; an exclusive private club so to speak. It fell into disrepair after the club membership disbanded.

White Dog is now an elegant, country style restaurant with a magnificent view of the valley that surrounds it. The slogan, "Come for the view, stay for the food". You won't want to miss its unwavering beauty, the scenic views, and rare sunsets!
